Job description
First point of contact for the department, in person or by phone and email;
Responsible for the administrative management of the sales and marketing department and hotel administration;
Acts as the primary contact for all business inquiries (lead catcher);
Responds to business inquiries; effectively qualifies requests and assigns them to the various sales managers;
Assist in the preparation of on-site customer visits: FAM trips and customer events;
Compile, maintain and distribute various sales department reports in a timely manner: daily, weekly and monthly statistical reports - updated and distributed as needed;
Maintain an organized tracking system of Sales, Marketing and Administration department payroll and payroll input data into the system on a weekly basis;
Record information that pertains to the group, event or meeting in the Marriott Bonvoy group posting tool;
Manage office equipment needs and act as the primary contact for office equipment and maintenance needs;
Prepare sales meeting agenda, accurately record procedure and take minutes;
Prepare and write the daily journal and post information on the board;
Prepare and write communications to VIP clients for the GM and Executive Committee;
Responsible for the standards of procedures and operations of the sales, marketing, convention service and administration departments;
